Safety precautions when operating a tire press machine

When operating or performing maintenance on the machine, it is important to pay attention to safety. Hands should not be placed inside the hot press plates.

If the machine is located in an area prone to thunderstorms, it must be shut down and the power supply should be disconnected.

Keep the hydraulic system switches in the open position.

While the machine is running, the operator should not leave the workstation.

Unless there are specific circumstances, the conveyor belt speed, unloading speed, and other parameters should not be changed arbitrarily. It is strictly prohibited to make unauthorized modifications to the hydraulic pipelines and electrical connections, adjust valve handwheels without authorization, or open the oil tank and air filter cover without permission. If necessary, it should be handled by a professional.

Preheat the press machine by closing the power supply and gradually increasing the temperature until it reaches the required temperature for pressing, before starting formal production to ensure the quality of the tire.

Keep the press machine clean and evenly stressed. Carefully remove any residues on the surface of the mold to avoid compromising the quality of the finished product.

When laying molds and workpieces on the movable table, attention should be paid to alignment, and uneven pressure should be strictly avoided.

If the temperature inside the hydraulic oil tank exceeds a certain limit, a cooling device must be used. In summer, hydraulic oil with higher viscosity should be used, while in winter, hydraulic oil with lower viscosity should be used. When the temperature in the hydraulic oil tank reaches a certain level, the temperature on the hydraulic pump casing should not exceed the set standard temperature. Otherwise, the machine should be stopped.

Pay special attention to cleaning the press plates, preventing the introduction of impurities or metallic objects during tire production, in order to avoid waste or damage to the finished product.

During normal operation, regularly observe any changes in the tire and steel plate. If any abnormalities are found, analyze and address them promptly. If contamination occurs, clean and wash the steel plate in a timely manner.

If any abnormal sounds are detected, stop the machine immediately. The machine should not be operated while it is malfunctioning, and any faults should be promptly resolved.

In summary, these are some of the safety precautions to be followed when operating a tire press machine. By understanding and adhering to these precautions, we can ensure a safer working environment.
